Delete Account Policy

1. Your Right to Delete

You have the right to delete your account at any time. We believe in giving you full control over your data and your presence on our platform. Deleting your account is a straightforward process, and we will guide you through it.

2. How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account using one of the following methods:

Method 1: In-App Deletion

  1. Open the application and go to Settings.
  2. Navigate to Account > Delete Account.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm deletion.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email once the process is initiated.

Method 2: Email Request

If you are unable to delete your account through the app, you can request deletion by emailing us at support@teiresource.com. Please include:

  • Your full name associated with the account.
  • The email address linked to your account.
  • A clear statement requesting account deletion.

Method 3: Through Your Device Settings

For accounts created through Google Play or the Apple App Store, you may also manage or delete your account through your device's account settings.

3. What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Upon account deletion, the following will occur:

  • Personal Data: All personal information associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days.
  • Content: Any content you created, uploaded, or shared through the application will be removed and will no longer be accessible.
  • Subscriptions: Active subscriptions will be canceled. You will not be charged for future billing cycles. Refunds for the current billing period are subject to the policies of the applicable app store.
  • Backups: Data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days, after which it will be permanently erased. Backup data is not accessible during this period.

4. Data Retention After Deletion

While we delete your personal data promptly, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:

  • Transaction records for tax and accounting purposes (retained for up to 7 years as required by law).
  • Anonymous, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you.
  • Information necessary to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or comply with legal obligations.

5. Reversibility

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once the deletion process is complete, you will not be able to recover your account or any data associated with it. If you wish to use our services again, you will need to create a new account.

6. Processing Time

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been successfully deleted. If we are unable to complete the deletion within this timeframe, we will inform you of the reason and the expected completion date.

7. Third-Party Services

If you used third-party services to sign in (such as Google or Apple Sign-In), deleting your account with us does not delete your account with those providers. You will need to manage those accounts separately through the respective provider's settings.

8. Children's Accounts

If you are a parent or guardian and wish to delete your child's account, please contact us at support@teiresource.com. We will prioritize and promptly process such requests.
